The Complete Guide to Tilesets and Kitbashing

From start to finish, we go over how we can make our own texture tileset with GIMP, apply that to models we make in Blender, and then take those models and kitbash them in Neos VR! Here is what is included in detail:

CH 1: Making the Tileset with GIMP (11 minutes)

- Explanation on what texture packing is - How to do it in GIMP (just the essentials!)

- Leverage the power of VR!
- Making your imports look exactly like they do in Blender
- Assembling objects in Neos VR
- Exporting what you've assembled back into Blender

CH5: VR World Building Tools Overview (35 minutes)
- Detail overview of all tools used in the VR kitbashing workflow

CH6: Free CC0 Assets and Alpha (4 minutes)
- I point out some useful cc0 assets made by myself and others
- A quick explanation of how to properly apply, use and display alpha channel textures in Blender (for leaves, grass, etc)
